Meet Carolyn

A body sleuth, Carolyn uses knowledge, experience and expertise in an integrated approach to not only treat symptoms but the root of the problem to help you reach your maximum potential and prevent future pain and injury.

Carolyn brings a high level of expertise with over 20 years experience in physiotherapy clinical treatment. Fascinated and continually curious about the human body, she loves to discover new and innovative techniques through courses and self-study. Exploring the power of the brain to retrain and correct compensatory movement patterns has led her to courses in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, Neurokinetic Therapy and Anatomy in Motion.

A mother of 4, Carolyn is also an accomplished long distance under and triathlete. Having run the Boston marathon, 80km ultras and being a 5 time Ironman Canada finisher, she is no stranger to the dedication it takes to meet training goals. She has had her fair share of injuries and understands the frustration that goes along with being away from your sport due to injury.

A Fellow of the Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) with certificates in Gunn IMS and acupuncture, Carolyn has a wide variety of skills to take on your rehabilitation needs. She enjoys the challenge of diagnosing and treating clients with a comprehensive and tailored approach taking into account individual lives and goals. Although she is intrigued by how the human body acts as a whole, she has a few areas of special interest including running, cycling and swimming injuries, shoulders, hips and even the temporomandibular joint.
